Did You Know That The Power To Heal Is Within You?

Let’s take a look at some of the best energy healing modalities…

Even though the body appears to be material, it is not. In the deeper reality, your body is a field of energy, transformation, and intelligence. – Deepak Chopra

You have an ability to tap into this power anytime you need it. This power can help you deal with any ailments or illnesses you may be experiencing, increase your vitality, and even balance your emotions.

This power involves working with the energy of your body. It is often referred to as Energy healing.

It can be any technique that uses the energy within your body to bring the body back into balance. By doing this you can begin to heal yourself.

Traditional Western medicine usually focuses on the diagnosis of symptoms and often uses medicine or drugs to treat those symptoms.

Energy healing is thought to unlock your life force or internal energy that enables you to heal you from the inside and get to the root cause of your ailment.

Energy practitioners have been using natural methods to activate the body’s energy to naturally heal itself for thousands of years. This usually involves bringing balance back to your body’s processes.

We often bring energy balance back to your body through a variety of methods where we balance Qi (vital energy or life force) – These techniques may include Ayurvedic medicine, Shamanic practices, hands-on healing such as Reiki, and Chinese reflexology, and many other techniques.

Western medicine and the practices of Ancient Energy healing can often work together to re-energize you. People are taking on the role of managing or guiding their own healing through these methods to deal with their issues.

This could be mindfulness or chakra balancing for reducing anxiety or balancing Qi with Qigong exercises that might help enhance traditional cancer therapies.

Scientific evidence is now starting to show support for different forms of energy techniques to promote healing. Many hospitals are starting to use alternative methods of healing in conjunction with medical treatments.

Energy healing is based on the understanding that any mental, physical or behavioral problem has a counterpart in the body’s energy system and can be treated at that energy level.

Often it is an approach that addresses your body, mind, and spirit, and also works with your emotions, past trauma, and even your present relationships.

What is a modality? A modality is a method or procedure of therapeutic approach.

You Can Heal Your Life” was the first book I read that dealt with Energy healing. This book changed my life and started my journey into the investigation of how energy can heal you and your body.

Louise Hay’s book talked about the connection between thoughts, emotions, the body and healing.

Modern medicine definitely has its place and if you have a broken bone you certainly want the surgery to ensure it heals properly. However, there is also a place for alternative medicine such as Energy healing.

According to Louise Hay emotions and thoughts affect the body too! These thoughts and emotions also fuel the energy that allows your body to work or not work. This is thought to be the foundation of energy healing.

I’ve compiled a list of some of the best energy healing modalities I have come across in my research.

Keep in mind this is not an exhaustive list but meant to be a guide or a starting point on your journey to self-discovery, health and wellbeing.

Body, Physical Touch.

This form of energy healing involves direct contact between a practitioner or product and the individual.

It usually involves some form of physical touch to the body, which might include practices, such as massage; acupressure; craniosacral therapy; rolphing; chiropractic techniques; rose healing therapy; aromatherapy; Ayurveda (herbal treatments, breathing exercises, yoga, mantras); reflexology; iridology; smudging; healing touch and more…

Energy healing can also work through vibrations. Practitioners will look at your current energy frequency. This involves the movement of vibrations like sound waves, light waves and thought vibrations.

Have you ever found that a particular song can have an effect on how you feel – it may bring you to tears or make you have the shivers. This feeling you get is a new vibration that changes your energy frequency.

Vibration techniques can sometimes include singing or sound bowls, music therapy, magnetized objects, pendulums, crystal healing, to name just a few.

The Mind.

This form of energy healing focuses on your mental state before anything else. It can help clear old thought patterns, help you deal with thoughts that are buried deep in your subconscious or help you deal with those limiting beliefs.

Examples of the more popular Mind healing options are meditation, visualization, affirmations, mindfulness, laughter yoga, dreamwork, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), telepathic exploration, blessings and prayer, hypnotherapy or long distance healing to name just a few.

Spiritual or Channeling.

The spiritual approach involves the healing practitioner acting as a conduit for spiritual assistance from other people, entities, or energies in the non-physical realm. Working with your spiritual guide helps to balance your energy. An example of this type of healing would be Angel healing.

There are 7 known Chakra energy centers in your body. Energy healing practitioners look at trying to clear anything that might be blocking the flow of energy through these points.

This is the focus on the energy that runs through our bodies. This energy is often referred to as meridians or energy lines. These lines of energy flow up and down our body.

These lines can get blocked through stress, trauma, lifestyle choices, etc.

When you experience meridian energy healing techniques they unblock these areas so that your energy can flow and your body can heal.

Some examples of Meridian healing are acupuncture, (EFT) Emotional Freedom Techniques, thymus thumping, Qigong, Jin Shin Jyutsu, and more…

Energy healing does not fit in a ‘little box’. All these types of Energy healing modalities are connected.

Keep in mind there is no one type of Energy healing that is a guarantee, whether is it physical, emotional, or spiritual; however Energy healing provides you with opportunities and possibilities that can complement your current lifestyle.

Whether you’re suffering from the common cold or a chronic illness, you have the option to turn to alternative natural treatments.

These treatments can include some of the best energy healing modalities that you learned about today. These energy healing modalities give you the power to heal from within.

Always remember you also have the option to look to doctors or pharmacists for the best medications to relieve your discomfort and heal your problems or issues.

Through Energy healing, YOU have the power to heal yourself, your loved ones, and others.

Energy healing can activate and restore balance, rejuvenate your body, and / or promote emotional wellbeing and spiritual healing.

With a few simple techniques, daily practices, and powerful treatments from skilled practitioners, the power to heal is at your fingertips.

  1. Hi Eliza, I am a firm believer on the energy that’s in us and around us.
Alternative therapies are always my first choice.
I like to use mindfulness and meditation daily and I’ve tried acupuncture as well as Laughter Yoga.
    I’m presently looking into visualization.
Thanks for sharing all these ideas. There’s a few I hadn’t thought of and would like to explore.

    1. Hi Glen, I like to try Alternative therapies first too. I’m not against using medicine if it is warranted but I think sometimes we are to quick to run to the doctor.
I see you like mindfulness and meditation too! It’s my ‘goto’ every morning. I haven’t tried Laughter yoga, but it sounds like fun. It is definitely on my list of things to try.
I’m not sure if you have heard of Vision boards but they are pretty cool. I’m going to be doing an article soon on how to make one. If you want to be notified when my article comes out just pop your name and email into my sidebar Email signup.
Thanks for stopping by and sharing your experiences,
      Cheers, Eliza
